COMMENTS

The child seat for the 3-year-old child was installed rearward facing using ISOFIX anchorages and support leg and was capable of preventing excessive forward movement of the head. Frontal and side impact protection was good. The Q1.5 was installed rearward facing using ISOFIX connectors and a support leg while it offered good protection for the frontal and side impact protection. As the manufacturer declined to recommend CRSs for the test the dynamic score was 0. The car manufacturer has a clear table in the instruction manual showing the positions and CRs mode appropriate for each child age or size or CRS group. The car offers ISOFIX anchorages in rear outboard positions. Disabling the passenger airbag when a rearward facing CRS in passenger seat was not possible. Some of the CRS could be installed properly in the required positions.

The car does not prove to meet Pedestrian protection UN regulations. The car showed majority of areas with good to marginal protection levels. AEB VRU: not offered even as optional, as ESC is not standard eventually it would not be able to score AEB points.
