Lane Support System

The Lane Support Systems (LSS) uses cameras (the same or similar to those of the AEB) to “read” the lines on the road and alert the driver if the car is approaching the lines. Some systems even “steer” the car away from the approached lines to safely maintain the correct course within the lines. These systems work for intermittent lines, full separation lines as well as for road edges lines. All the scenarios are tested by Latin NCAP.
