In the frontal impact the driver and passenger heads were both well protected by the driver and passenger airbags. Both seatbelts were equipped with pretensioners and load limiters. The driver and passenger knees areas did not show critical structures and offered good protection with the knee airbag. The bodyshell was rated as stable and was capable of withstanding further loading. The model could meet the requirements of the UN95 side impact test.
